Public Guided Tours
Public guided tours of the Museum's main galleries are held on Thursday at 1 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Tours of the Sculpture Park are held on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm (May through November). Tours are free with Campus admission.

January

1.28 Artist Performance and Talk
7 pm, Free and open to the public
Join "the friendliest black artist in America" for a special performance and talk during the opening reception for The 2010 DeCordova Biennial. William Pope.L will discuss his current and past work and do a paint-based performance as part of the programming for this exciting new exhibition. Space is limited, and admittance will be standing room only on a first-come, first-serve basis. An event not to be missed!

1.30 Take a Guided Snowshoe Sculpture Park Tour!
Saturdays at 10 am and 1 pm
$18 for Members; $10 for Member children ages 8 – 14; $27 for Non-Members. Space is limited, and reservations are required. RSVP to Laura Hoffman at 781/259-3604. Refunds will be issued only if weather conditions are not conducive to snowshoeing. BYO water, snack, and sunglasses for the journey.

10 – 11am. Join story teller, Sally Kindleberger, as she tells tales in the Dr. Kenneth Germeshausen Art ExperienCenter. We will then move to the DeNormandie Library for snacks and an art activity. This drop-in program has been designed in conjunction with the Lincoln Library. Families with children ages 3 - 6. FREE with museum admission. Reservations not required, but recommended at 781-259-3604 or edassistant@decordova.org.

3.14 PLATFORM Discussion Series
Free with museum admission
A PLATFORM-exclusive event—join Koch Curatorial Fellow Nina Gara Bozicnik and Dr. Corrine Taylor, Wellesley College's Director of Quantitative Reasoning as they engage in a conversation about some of the larger issues in Hongisto's site-specific installation, Black Swan Event. Topics will include how people typically construct meaning within the economic marketplace, the emotions linked to our decision-making processes, and the way Hongisto's installation visualizes these ideas.
