Claffy Williams sees art as an expression of the spirit. She therefore places no restraints on her work and constantly experiments with her art. Her bold style combines rich colors with natural forms, reflecting the dual influence on the artist of both Eastern spatial qualities and Western abstraction.
Williams received formal training under George Dergalis at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has shown extensively, both in group and in solo exhibitions, such as those at the Chinese Cultural Institute, Boston, MA, North Haven Art Gallery, North Haven, ME, North River Arts Society, Marshfield, MA, and Modern Art Museum D’Unet, Bordeaux, France.
