With a BFA in metalsmithing, painting, and sculpture, Declan Halpin sees no need to keep these media separate. Looking for “emotional landmarks that define people,” he uses human psychology to provoke intrigue in his audience. Combining these three art forms, Halpin allows the emotions and memories expressed in his work to have a dialogue with one another and, in turn, with the viewer.
Exhibiting throughout the area, the artist is represented by the Clark Gallery, Lincoln, MA, the Ernden Fine Art Gallery, Provincetown, MA, and Fresh Paint Art Advisors, Culver City, CA. Halpin has had solo exhibitions throughout the area, including the Cape Cod Museum of Art, Dennis, MA, the Fuller Museum, Brockton, MA, and Markel Fine Arts, New York, NY. His work is part of many corporate collections including Meditech, Fall River, MA, Hinkley, Allen & Snyder, Providence, RI, and Southborough Junction, Southborough, MA.
