Dirty Light, Sad Re-Membrance, 2000, g-string, ink, Prismacolor, corn plasters, various Band-aids, and mixed media on Mylar architecture plans, 35" x 26", Courtesy: Howard Yezerski Gallery, Boston, MA and Feature, Inc., New York, NY

This project, G-String Theophany Adoration Series, deals with a funky look at art and metaphysics.

Totalities are created by means of vignettes, which act as gates to the nether regions. From inside, with a flair for the fantastic, emerge self-styled mythological beings, places, events and devices; humorous to horrific.

Depicting the feminine factor stressed in Pagan religions (often referred to as the Black Sun or Black Virgin), a G-String fastened upon each drawing remains a central focus. Within each piece this object morphs from creator to destroyer and represents a self-styled "terror" void from which all matter originates.
