Charles Bandes
Charles Bandes fell in love with photography as he was attending the Rhode Island School of Design where he received his BFA in printmaking in 1993. He then decided to concentrate on developing his photography skills through his graduate studies at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Massachusetts College of Art, and the New England School of Photography. He enjoys teaching people of all ages, has shown in multiple exhibitions in the New England area, and has developed his own freelance photography business specializing in portraiture and weddings. His enthusiasm for the medium translates well to the teaching arena as he encourages students to develop at their own pace while providing individualized attention. He has been a DeCordova Museum School instructor since 2005.
