Stay Tuned! @ DeCordova

Twilight Sculpture Park Tour & Indoor Concert Series

Lincoln, MA—This summer, Decordova Museum and Sculpture Park is offering a truly unique and wonderful experience to both music and art enthusiasts. Stay Tuned! @ DeCordova is the ultimate package for summer fun, beginning with the natural aesthetic of the Sculpture Park and ending with the gentle harmonies of unique and soulful music. The program is from 6:30 – 9:30 pm and features a tour of the grounds of DeCordova’s Sculpture Park, snacks, and a concert! Stay Tuned! is hosted by The Store @ DeCordova will be held on July 31, August 7 and 14 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

The program begins with a Twilight Tour of the Sculpture Park led by Museum Guides. This tour provides the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy the beautiful sunset over Flint’s Pond. Museum Guides provide guests with a personalized tour of the Park, revealing the many wonderful aspects of the Park’s various sculptures. After the tour is over, the music begins!

The Stay Tuned! evening package costs $17 per person for Members and $20 for Non-Members. Reservations are required and space is limited, contact 781/259-8692 or dduddy@decordova.org to reserve your place. All programs are subject to change.

July 31 show cases Eden MacAdam-Somer and Larry Unger. Naming their performing duo “Notorious” out of their love for the famous Hitchcock film, these amazing musicians create a sound with “mastery” – not “mystery.” Based in Boston but performing around the nation, their fiddle and guitar duo soars with a lively and joyous collaboration that begins this season’s performances of STAY TUNED! @ DeCordova.

August 7 features the Arpello Duo. This award-winning duo of Ina Zdorovetchi on harp and Holgen Gjoni on cello will present a thrilling evening of works from the classical canon. The unusual pairing of exquisite string instruments creates a sound that is passionate, haunting, and thoroughly memorable.

August 14 introduces David Aaronoff and The Protagonists. Once described as “Kurt Weill meets Hank Williams at Heart Attack & Vine” – how could we not ask this amazing group to finish out the season of STAY TUNED! performances? Witty, ironic, and infused with rock roots, The Protagonists are the antidote to any summer doldrums in which you may be trapped.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to enjoy the mingling of arts and nature like never before! With this fantastic lineup of professional musicians, Thursdays in August at DeCordova will be a great way to end the summer months.
