Art Activities
Fun for kids and adults, too! Art in the Park provides an opportunity for children (and adults!) to be inspired by the art around them, and to create their own works of art.
Art in the Park 2008 Art Activities are being developed:
- T-shirt painting: Experience the fun of wearable art by creating a one-of-a-kind painted t-shirt with fabric paints! $5 per t-shirt.
- “Make Dad a Card” with the Gropius House: Using multi-media, create your own greeting card for Father’s Day.
- Chalkscape / Seascape: Join us outdoors as we create a gigantic artwork in chalk on the driveway—sweeping by Alice’s Garden and to the back of the Museum.
- Clothespin Creations: Make your own miniature friend using clothespins, fabric, glue, bangles, and imagination!
- Yarn Bugs: Use yarn, pompons, scissors, and googly eyes to make a magical insect. This will be the cutest bug in your house.
- All activities are free with Festival admission unless otherwise noted.
