Working primarily in gouache and mixed media, Diana Arcadipone incorporates stitching and beading as line elements in her work. The artist’s fascination for materials began when she started making her own paper for painting and printmaking. Arcadipone’s love of nature and travel is reflected in her paintings, which combine cultural objects, natural materials, and imagery.
The artist attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI where she received her BFA and Ohio University where she earned her MFA. She has exhibited at the Clark Gallery in Lincoln, MA, Susan Fulmer Fine Art in Boston, MA, and Frick Gallery in Belfast, ME.
