"My art is representational, though I often employ techniques and achievements of abstract expressionists (including Jackson Pollock's dripping technique) at the initial steps of creating a painting. I consider my style as a step away from abstraction into representational art which I consider a step forward rather than backwards. My art is an attempt to rediscover a way-out into sublimity and beauty. I seek meaningfulness and expression through contrasts of light and shade, colors, and rhythm. Most of my paintings were conceived and should be understood in this way. The mediums used are oil, acrylic, and screenprinting ink."
