"My paintings are abstract images that use color and form to express an idea. As a painting develops, there is an evolutionary transaction that takes place, with give and take, between the painting in process and my ideas. The painting is a statement about the world around me, how I see it and how it impacts me. My goal is that the painting will impact viewers by evoking feelings and ideas that are personal to them."
