Fill your weekends with art and family through group explorations and engagements with materials and processes inspired by the themes and artists of the day. This monthly program is held from September–May and is designed for families with children ages 6 and up, but all are welcome.
School Vacation Week Programs
Explore how play informs contemporary art through the creation of large-scale collaborative structures. Each biweekly session features various materials to build site-specific, temporary constructions in response to the surrounding art and environment. Join visitors of all ages in different locations in the Sculpture Park as we play, experiment, and build in June, July and August.
Family Friendly Interactives
Process Gallery and The Square
Experience exhibitions and art from the inside out! These changing, multi-sensory spaces support opportunities for visitors to touch, interact, and discover together. The Process Gallery is located in the Museum; The Square is located adjacent to deCordova | Store.
Family Activity Kits
Kits and clipboards are available for close exploration of Museum exhibitions and Sculpture Park themes. Check in at the Museum front desk when you arrive.
Teen Ceramics Summer Intensive
