Leslie Miller-Medoff’s work is mostly created outside of the studio on conservation land in Maine and Massachusetts. When she paints, she likes to feel comfortable in the location and she returns to it over and over until a piece is finished. Miller relies on weather, seasons, and light to make each scene look different from day to day, enabling her to paint the same landscape numerous times.
Leslie Miller-Medoff received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI and her MFA from Boston University. She has been an Artist in Residence at Acadia National Park in Maine and Millay Colony for the Arts in New York. The artist exhibits her paintings at Studio One, Groton, MA, Hunter Lea Gallery, Ludlow, VT, Enclave, Concord, MA, and Louisa Gould Gallery, Vineyard Haven, MA.
