Lynn Tornberg’s vibrant and varied color palette is central to the purpose and relevance of her work. Tornberg’s acrylic and pastel works speak with golden fields and azure skies. The artist’s dedication to intuitively expressing the emotionality of color is not surprising given her early exposure—through her parents—to the importance of musical composition. Her appreciation for color seems like visual homage to the intensities and harmonies of a symphony.
Tornberg received a BA at the University of Miami and has also attended Montserrat College of Art, Beverly, MA. The artist has exhibited in New York, Boston, and in the Caribbean. In 1996, three works by Tornberg were included in The Best of Acrylic Painting. She is represented by Art Research Associates Inc., South Hamilton, MA.
