"My recent work combines painting, drawing, and sculpture. I use both the urban and seaside landscapes as inspiration, combining two and three-dimensional found objects and paint.
In the tradition of Marcel Duchamp, John Chamberlain, and Susan Stockwell, the work, is primarily concerned with transformation, the putting together of everday materials that prevade our daily lives. Known as 'Assemblage,' the materials are mainpuated and transformed into art objects.
If the work has integrity it will be simple and clean, complex and inviting; it will not make assumptions about the artistic world, nor about the challenging times in which we live. It will invite the viewer, however, to reflect upon it all."
