Beginning the process with pencil, Marjorie Kaye’s drawings eventually transform into a well balanced kaleidoscopes of color. Inspired by plantlife, crystalline formations, mathematic fractions, and movement, Kaye carefully considers the order and direction of forms used in her work through her use of vibrant colors and suggestion of light.
The artist received a BA in fine arts from Syracuse University. Since then, she has exhibited at national art institutions, including Lynn Arts Center, Lynn, MA, Vantage Gallery, Ithaca, NY, Crescent Dragon Gallery, Haverhill, MA, and Period Gallery, Omaha, NE.
