Having started my career as a portrait artist I approach the Garden subjects in a similar way. The expressive qualities in plants and flowers relate to me deeply, both physically and emotionally. Ultimately, the paintings are a conversation with myself. They describe my viewpoint, my relationships, and my understanding of the natural world."
