The Story Behind the Story: Teachers as Collaborators in Supporting Children's Inquiry

Join author and education John Nimmo and teacher-documenters from Lincoln Nursery School for a dialogue about the role of the teacher in making curriculum decisions. We will explore the challenges of collaboration, the potential of learning through conflict, and the importance of seeing teaching as a process of inquiry.

This program is is held in conjunction with the exhibit What Does the Imagination Look Like?, on view in The Square at deCordova through November 4, 2015. The exhibit grew out of the partnership between Lincoln Nursery School and deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, a unique experiment in the future of museums and education.
